Today was a great day! Dylan spent his second day with Grandma at the dayhome and had a wonderful time. Grandma says that he initiates most of his play... heading to the music area to play instruments and dance, finding the playdough later and using his creative genes, heading downstairs to swing. He even helped grandma make a super awesome craft today of a snowman. So proud of you Dylan!

We joined Grandma and Grandpa for dinner tonight. Dylan ate everything on his plate, every last bite. He even somehow got his grandpa to feed him the last of the food on his plate... oh Dylan, how you love your grandpa!

We then headed over to the community league to donate blood. Mommy was very disappointed to find that her iron levels were too low to donate. We stuck around to watch grandma and grandpa get set up in side by side chairs to donate and then headed home.

On our ways home, Dylan found a pair of rollerblades that strap onto his shoes at a store (that I couldn't resist making a quick stop at). He spent a little time rollerblading around at home before easily slipping into sleep.

I loved today! Dylan and I totally enjoyed it and are sleeping happily tonight :)

Today was Dylan's first day back at Grandma's Dayhome since August. It was just so nice to have him back there, for a million reasons! when I picked him up, we went to McDonald's for dinner on our way to swimming lessons. He loves the water and just comes alive like he was born to swim! His favorite is the song about a turtle named "Tiny Tim" and the water slide they get to go on at the end of class.

Today was Dylan's last day at daycare. His room, "Green Room", threw him a little party with cupcakes and a giant banner to go in his room with handprints and artwork from all his friends.

This evening we had dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Cassidy and uncle Connor. Dylan surprised Grandpa by eating as many black olives as he could find in the salad! He also loved grandma's hot applesauce on his icecream. Uncle Connor entertained us with his new DJ program.

I'm looking forward to Dylan being back in Grandma Oudman's Dayhome. This will be a good thing!

Last night, Dylan and I headed to a Birthday party for one of my friends from high school. It was nice to see some old friends. Dylan and his friend Penny, who introduced Dylan to my friends as her husband, spent the evening together dancing, eating, playing with babies and dolls!

Dylan, I was so proud of you tonight! You are so fun and entertaining, and still showcase your beautiful manners and happy demeanor through it all. Thanks for a great evening out on the town!
Here are some pictures of our evening out on the town...
Dylan and Penny dancing the night away! Penny taught Dylan to put one hand on her shoulder and use his other hand to hold hers... so cute!
Dylan ate my friends birthday dessert very happily. He was still awake at 11pm...
Oh, Happy Day!
Ya, we love eachother.

Last night Dylan and I had to stay at work late for a meeting. He was so good (and only growled like a dinosaur a few times during my presentation!)

It turned out great because Dylan and I had such a blast at McDonald's afterwards! He had the whole playpark to just him and another little girl from his daycare...and did they ever play!

Dylan fell asleep before we left the parking lot, and I spent over an hour doing my "Biggest Loser" Workout videos. 100% recommended!! Fun and Easy workouts that really get you heartbeat up and motivate.
Here is a picture Dylan took of me... This Two-Year old has skills!

Today Dylan and I played in the snow. I picked him up and tossed him as far as I could into almost 5 feet of snow... over and over again! We had a blast!

Grandma came over with a bedtime treat for Dylan. We rocked out on guitars and watched Dylan get all tangled up in a spool of "caution" tape.

This photo is of Dylan this first week of January at his Great Grandma and Grandpa Blakeman's house. He loved the mobile train around this christmas tree!

I think that this is a good day to start blogging for Dylan. I am hoping that the dedication my sister Tamara gives to her blog will be the inspiration I need to motivate me to keep at this regularily!
